The next time we need to use a link I will be sure to create it so that it will appear on the chat wall and our videos will be more accessible. I have learned from this mistake and recognize what I need to do next tie to ensure the meeting will be more accessible.😊 2 Options to Learn How to Remove Old Meetings from Your Calendar

Week 4
Hello Parents,
I had a wonderful week getting to see many of the children in the classroom! Next week the student will only need to bring their pencils, crayons, glue sticks and scissors. If you have not already done so I suggest buying a studying pencil case that can fit in a desk.
Next week our class (ON level) will be learning about two dimensional and three-dimensional shapes in our next unit. You can help your child out by playing a friendly game of I-Spy daily. Below you will find a list of the shapes we will be discussing. We will begin by learning about the defining attributes of these shapes. 2D shapes. They are defined by the number of sides, the number of angles (or vertices) and that they are closed shapes. (Any shape that is not closed is really just a line.)
2D Shapes: triangle, square, circle, pentagon, rectangle, hexagon, octagon, rhombus
3D Shapes are defined by the number of edges, number of surfaces, and the number of vertices.
3D Shapes: cylinder, sphere, cone, rectangular prism, triangular prism and cube
Please be sure that your child is sure your child is working on the ON level September Math Choice board. This board is all about shapes and fractions.
Below you will find a list of assigned activities that will be graded next week. They will be available by 5 pm Sunday evening. You may access them under each subject folder.
Graded Assignments for Next Week will be:
Reminder: Our virtual Curriculum Night will be this Tuesday. I hope to “see you there”!
As always, please let me now if you have any questions or concerns.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Week 2
Good Afternoon!
We have successfully completed week one! I am looking forward to next week. Next week, we will be live from 8:15-about 9:30. We will have independent work for after our Morning Meetings that students will be able to access. I will continue with One-to-One conferences. Your child will have the same day and time as as he/she did this week unless I have reached out to discuss a different time.
Yesterday I sent out class codes for Seesaw. If you did not receive a Seesaw code please reach out to me. This will help you access Seesaw through the Seesaw app, as well as Classlink.
The Specials teachers now have their own accounts on Seesaw in which they will be assigning and collecting their work. Therefore, I do not have links to these assignments. If you have trouble viewing the Special teachers’ page in Seesaw then re-try through Classlink. If this does not work please reach out to the Specials teacher. Please remember that our Special Schedule is:
Mon.- Art (Strom)
Tues.- Music (Ms. LeSaicherre)
Wed.- PE (Coach B)
Thur.- Spanish (Murduck)
Fri.- PE (Coach K)
Please be sure your child brings the yellow Social Studies workbook, Our American Heritage to class Monday. We will be taking a look at the workbook together and I will share the page they will be working on during independent work time. I would also like them to gather 8-10 books they enjoy reading from their home library to keep in a bin or bag to keep with them for independent reading. They can be any books of their choice. We will be providing our first lessons on Building Good Reading Habits in our independent/ pre-recorded Reading lessons next week.
